MEXICAN DRUG WAR CLAIMS SAME NUMBER OF CASUALTIES AS VIETNAM WAR OVER FIVE YEAR PERIOD!

U.S. Deaths in Vietnam War by Year

The United States government has the ability to overthrow Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi regime, yet can’t muscle the intelligence and power to knock out a few uneducated drug dealers across the Rio Grande?

According to a recent Attorney General report 47,515 drug-related killings occurred from December 2006, when President Felipe Calderón deployed thousands of troops to drug hot spots, through September 2011. The violent death and senseless destruction caused by the Mexican drug cartel has reached a critical stage. Action must be taken to protect the lives of innocent unarmed people of Mexico.  It is only a matter of time before the bloodshed flows north to America.

The Mexican drug cartels must be destroyed.  The citizens of Mexico must be permitted to arm themselves in order to protect their families and communities.  If not the citizens of the country, who will?

Yes, you are comparing the current death toll of the Mexican Drug War (counting all the civilians, journalists, police, military & narcos dead) with the number of U.S. casualties in the Vietnam War. why not compare it with a number that includes the millions of civilians who died in that same war?

    What Asians don’t count?
