It’s been two weeks that we have been doing block watch patrol.  What we aim to accomplish is preventing theft in the neighborhood and thus create an environment for our small businesses to grow.  We have made tremendous progress in this endeavor.

I’ve learned a thing or two while out on patrol.  I’d like to share three lessons with others, especially those who may stumble across this site looking for information about block watches.  Perhaps these pointers will benefit others who are thinking of starting their own patrol.


Lesson One (most important): How to avoid confrontation
