VERY RARE ELISABETH ELLIOT LECTURE: THE MERCY OF GOD AND WAITING

The following audio was discovered in Dr. Carl Bogue’s archive.  It is unknown where and exactly when Elisabeth Elliot gave this speech.  It is assumed that Dr. John Gerstner is in the audience as she mentions him by name.

I’m not a feminist for keeping my first husband’s name …

… to wait is to serve …

… nothing tests the saints like waiting …

The original audio was poorly recorded on substandard equipment. There were numerous irreparable problems with the original recording. I have done my best to improve and restore it using Sony Sound Forge software, but was unable to achieve the desired result.

My deepest apology if you have difficulty understanding the message.

Thankyou for this treasure of this message from Elisabeth Elliot.
It seemed to end before she was finished. Is that so?
