Part 27 of a series. President Clinton: “…I tried not to say things which will be forever in the historic annals of the United States because of this unprecedented videotape.”

In this segment the grand jury inquires if the President tried to tamper with witness Betty Currie.  The influence of Drudge Report is mentioned by the President.


On August 17, 1998 President Bill Clinton gave video-taped testimony before a federal grand jury in the Ken Starr investigation. This testimony is provided as released by Congress as an historical account without narration, without opinion.
